Garden Kits and Mixed Flats

A garden kit is a collection of plants pre-selected to meet a certain purpose. Garden kits are designed to make gardening goals easy and economical. They can be used as a quick way to start gardening native without having to research, or they can help you meet particular habitat goals in one easy package.

Garden kits come pre-arranged in the tray so you can plant them just as they are for an instant garden design, with tall plants in the back and short, showy plants in the front. Or, since each plant is labeled with plant name and height, you can arrange them to suit your space. These economical kits include 38 plant plugs that fill 50 square feet at 1-foot spacing - a 5'x10' bed (with 8" border); or up to 86 square feet at 1.5 sq. ft. spacing - a 6'x14' bed.

Each plug flat tray includes 38 plants of about 12 different species for garden kits, and about 5 species for mixed flats. To buy the plants individually would be well over $200.
