Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifera)

One of the largest native trees of eastern North America. Native to Southern Michigan, it is hardy to zone 4. Tulip trees are fast growing with strong wood. Valued as a landscape tree for its blooms, shade, and golden fall color.
